STREET STYLES ACADEMY
Introducing the Street Styles Academy at Solution Dance Centre Zaandam. A unique program that goes beyond regular dance classes. Each 90-minute session is part of a multi-week focus on one specific street style, giving you the time to dive deeper, explore and discover how your body connects to that dance. From Krump, Vogue, Litefeet and Konto to Jazz, Amapiano, Waacking, Popping, House, Locking, Hip Hop and more. Each style is taught by dedicated teachers and educators who share not only the movement, but also the culture, knowledge and heritage behind it. Alongside classes, expect panel talks, documentaries, and inspiring experiences that bring street culture to life.
At Street Styles Academy, you can purchase single classes, or you can join using the credits from your subscription or Class Pass. The class is open to everyone and is suitable for all levels.
MOVEMENT ACADEMY
Introducing the Movement Academy at Solution Dance Centre. A 90-minute training program designed for dancers who want more than just choreography. Classes rotate between different teachers, but each stays for several weeks, giving you time to adapt to their style and explore your own movement in depth. From Jazz Funk and Hip Hop to Afro Fusion and Commercial styles, the focus is on movement quality, textures, storytelling and choreography tools. In this program, you’ll train with top choreographers and movement directors who bring dance to a higher level. Guiding you to develop both body and mind, deepen your artistry, and expand your vision as a dancer.
For the Movement Academy, it’s important that you fill in your details and register. This is an exclusive training for semi-professionals, trained dancers, and professionals. So it’s essential that we first see what you can do. Please complete the form with your name and a link to your social media. You will then receive a response if you are suitable to join the academy.
SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS
At Solution Dance Centre, we believe that every dancer has more to offer than just movement, they have a voice, a vision and a story to share.
Spotlight Sessions is our brand new platform where we create space for emerging talent. Each month, we offer a studio slot to a young, passionate maker, someone ready to grow not only as a dancer, but also as a
choreographer, teacher or creative
leader.
For students a chance to train with new talent and support your fellow dancers for only €5,00 per session.
Whether it's a fresh piece of choreography or an original class concept, Spotlight Sessions gives aspiring dance creators the chance to teach, inspire, and experiment. With options to have the class filmed, to keep a personal record or for content.
